Summary:
1. Go to: www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
2. Log In
3. Click on Backup Wizard
4. Click Backup
5. Click Full Backup
6. Set Backup Destination as: Home Directory
7. Click Generate Backup You will receive an email notification when your backup is complete. This may take as little at 2 minutes, or as long as and hour, depending on the size of your website.
8. After receiving notification, your backup will now be available for download. Save this to your computer or external hard drive. How frequently should you take backups? It really depends on how much your site changes everyday. If it is purely informational, once every major update would suffice. On the other hand if your site changes daily, then daily backups would be a good idea.
