Add a DYNAMIC Google Map – Business Websites!

Get more customers by using a Dynamic Google Map in your website.

Summary:

1. Open a Web browser window and go to www.google.com.
2. Search for Google Maps, and type in your business address in the Google Maps search bar.
3. Go to the little gear icon near the lower right corner, and click Share and embed map.
4. A pop-up window will open, and then click Embed map.
5. Select the appropriate map size for your website from the drop-down menu near the upper left corner of the pop-up window.
6. You can see a preview of the map’s size on by clicking on the link, Preview actual size, and adjust accordingly.
7. After selecting the map size, copy the map embed code.
8. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard: www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
9. Go to Pages, and click Contact Us or the page where you want to embed the Dynamic Google Map (for embedding in the sidebar, to to Appearance > Widgets)
10. Go to the Text tab, and paste the code you copied earlier.
11. Click Update.
12. Click View Page to view your website’s page update in a browser.
