Summary:
- Open a Web browser window and go to www.google.com.
- Search for Google Maps, and type in your business address in the Google Maps search bar.
- Go to the little gear icon near the lower right corner, and click Share and embed map.
- A pop-up window will open, and then click Embed map.
- Select the appropriate map size for your website from the drop-down menu near the upper left corner of the pop-up window.
- You can see a preview of the map’s size on by clicking on the link, Preview actual size, and adjust accordingly.
- After selecting the map size, copy the map embed code.
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard: www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
- Go to Pages, and click Contact Us or the page where you want to embed the Dynamic Google Map (for embedding in the sidebar, to to Appearance > Widgets)
- Go to the Text tab, and paste the code you copied earlier.
- Click Update.
- Click View Page to view your website’s page update in a browser.
